INFI
Genuinely soft water. Ion-exchange softening that removes hardness at the source.
01Technology
The proven science behind true water softening: hardness minerals are captured on resin and taken out of the water, at the source.

Removes hardness at the source
02The science
Hard water carries dissolved calcium (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺). Ion exchange takes them out.
Water flows through a vessel filled with resin beads that hold sodium ions loosely. As hard water passes through, the resin captures calcium and magnesium and releases sodium in their place. The water that leaves the vessel is soft.
That is the key difference from conditioning. Conditioning changes how hardness behaves, so it stops forming scale. Softening removes the hardness altogether.
03How it works
Hard water flows through the resin bed. Calcium and magnesium are exchanged for sodium, and soft water flows out.
Water flows upward to loosen the resin bed and flush out trapped particles.
A brine (salt) solution washes through the resin, releasing the captured hardness and recharging it with sodium.
Excess brine is rinsed away and the system returns to service.
The cycle repeats. How often depends on how hard the water is and how much of it you use.
04Technology
Conditioning and softening are two different jobs. Conditioning changes how hardness behaves, so it stops forming scale. Softening removes the hardness altogether. The gauges show what leaves your tap.

06Questions
No. Ion exchange swaps hardness minerals for a small amount of sodium, and softened water doesn’t taste salty. How much sodium is added depends on how hard the water was to begin with.
Ion-exchange systems use a salt (brine) solution to regenerate the resin. When scale is the only concern, conditioning, which needs no salt, can be the better fit. We’ll tell you which after testing your water.
No. Softening removes the hardness altogether. Conditioning changes how hardness behaves, so it stops forming scale. WaterIZER conditions, and INFI softens through ion exchange.
We test your water on site, covering hardness, TDS, iron and pH, and study how it’s used. You then get a clear, costed recommendation.
